WorkRoll is free for a fully functional, 30-day trial period. The WorkRoll application is one hundred percent web-based (for regular use as well as for initial configuration and day-to-day administration).

Note: if you have opted to have WorkRoll.com host your WorkRoll installation, then you do not need to install WorkRoll at all; however, you may wish to do so for evaluation purposes. (You may also evaluate WorkRoll by viewing the demo application.)

Windows users: Most Windows users should install WorkRoll by downloading the workroll.exe setup application (unless you wish to run WorkRoll as a service, in which case click here); do this by saving the file below (right-click and choose "Save Target As") to your desktop, double-clicking on the saved file, and following the installer's instructions (if you encounter any problems during installation, please contact WorkRoll, or call (toll-free) 877-247-4818): Non-Windows users (and Windows users who have an existing JSP application server or want full control over their installation): WorkRoll can be installed as a J2EE web application. If you wish to do this, please choose one of the links below:
  • Install WorkRoll as a web application (for users who are already running a JSP-friendly application server such as Tomcat, Weblogic, Orion, Websphere, SunONE, JRun, Resin, etc.)
  • Install an application server, then install WorkRoll (for users who don't already have a JSP-friendly application server, or aren't sure if they do)
  • If you wish to have WorkRoll.com host your installation (go here for details), you may or may not wish to install WorkRoll at all. If don't wish to install WorkRoll but want to see it in action, view the demo application. (Contact WorkRoll, or call (toll-free) 877-247-4818, for details about hosting options.)
